SSP

SSP mode, short for Side-scrolling platformer, is Sandbox's mode for creating side-scroller games, such as the original Mario games. It is currently under development, but is not being focused on, with RPG mode being the main focus at the current moment. There is currently no scripting for SSP mode, unlike FPS and RPG. SSP will be focused on development in the Sandbox 3.0 and later releases
the features of SSP mode include:
- side-scroller playing
- pickups, such as magnetic armor, health bananas and money
- pivot points, for different directions
- checkpoints
- boxes that contain things
- enemies
- jumppads and teleporters
- moving platforms and elevators
